Amazon, reports the Financial Times, believes that the investigation has become an excessive burden on employees and managers, to whom requests for documents and information have been delivered. Hence the request of the online sales giant to limit requests that only serve to torment managers and create problems for the activities. Since March 2021, the US Federal Trade Commission has been investigating the possibility that Amazon has used deceptive tactics to attract Prime consumers.

Authorities are also investigating whether Amazon is unfairly making it difficult for customers to cancel their subscription.
