Elections, Bonino:

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 23 – Huawei’s Mate series is back after two years. The Chinese giant will present on September 6, only for the home market, the new Mate 50, expected in four variants, Mate 50e, Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 Rs customized Porsche Design. The event was confirmed by the same company with a post on the most popular social network in China, Weibo. The latest release of the Mate series dates back to October 2020, when Huawei presented the Mate 40 Pro and 40 Pro Plus. The United States ban, which prohibits American companies from having hardware and software supply relationships with Huawei, and the due to the pandemic would have delayed the finalization of the new models. Based on the rendering shown in the Weibo event presentation poster, it appears that Huawei will still be using a circular camera module, along with a gold finish on the Pro model.

According to the latest rumors, the various smartphones will integrate a photo processor designed to ensure first-rate image processing. The Mate 50 Pro and Rs models should benefit from a 1-inch sensor, provided by Sony, for the main camera, the same one that debuted on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The Pro and Rs would also be the only ones with a curved display and a 3D sensor for face unlock. Additionally, both Mate 50 Pro and Rs will support 100W charging. Major tech sites in the East report that just under a week later, on September 12, the phones will be made available in international markets, including Europe.
