In Thailand, the giant is already participating in an initiative aimed at increasing renewable energy production and energy storage, as well as in Vietnam, for solar electricity to 20 schools across the country. In Colombia, Apple is helping put a photovoltaic system on the roof of the Santa Ana hospital into service; in Israel, the Nitzana Educational Eco-Village for at-risk youth will benefit from photovoltaic panels to reduce electricity costs and generate a new source of income for the organization.
