Elon Musk and more than 1,100 other professors, engineers and researchers signed an open letter at the SHI Lab demanding immediately stop training of artificial intelligence systems more powerful than GPT-4 for at least half a year. The letter was published on the website of the non-profit organization Future of Life Institute.

At the same time, some of those whose signatures are under the letter stated that their names were simply used, but in fact they did not sign anything.
