(ANSA) – MILAN, 09 NOV – According to a new report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on the launch of a new feature, called Community. This should allow users to create subgroups within groups, a sort of restricted circle that would avoid the emergence of further extended chats, disconnected from the main ones and to be managed separately. The report points out that ‘communities’ will give administrators greater control over groups, similar to what happens on Discord, the chat platform for gamers, where subscribers can create channels within a larger server, dedicated to different titles or genres. According to the documents analyzed by WABetaInfo, administrators will be able to invite other users to a community, even if it is not clear whether these should already be participants of the main group or not. Like normal chats, even the community rooms will be end-to-end encrypted, for greater security. The news of WhatsApp would also be others. The team seems ready to release more options to improve the use of the messaging client. These include new privacy controls, encrypted cloud backup and multi-device support even from smartphone to smartphone. To date, the function allows you to connect the main phone to the desktop app or to a web access, to chat even when the phone is off or without internet. However, the wait is for the extension of the possibility of using the same number on different smartphones, both Android and iPhone. (HANDLE).
