Google intensifies the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), applying it to climate, medicine and accessibility. It is in this sector that it launches Project Relate, the new Android app with which it aims to help people with language problems.
In creating the app, Big G worked closely with various volunteers, including Aubrie Lee, a brand manager of the same American giant, suffering from muscular dystrophy. “I’m used to looking on people’s faces when they can’t understand what I said. Project Relate can make the difference between feeling confused and understanding phrases and terms used in the middle of a conversation,” she explains on the occasion of ‘Inventors ‘, the event dedicated to AI news.
The app provides a learning path, currently in English, with which it can create a speech database and enrich the vocabulary on which it is based, enhanced by artificial intelligence understanding algorithms.
