For example, Houston company Axiom Space plans to make four flights to the ISS with a private crew aboard capsules in the next two years SpaceX Crew Dragon.

The first of these flights will take place already in February 2022. Axiom plans to launch a commercial module on the ISS in September 2024, followed by three more modules.

With the delivery of the fourth module, the station will be able to work autonomously from the ISS, and then split off to become an independent next-generation space station.
