(ANSA) – PISA, 17 DEC – Anna Vaccarelli, senior technologist of the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the Cnr of Pisa and head of external relations of the .it Registry, was awarded as best IT by the Italian computer society, the association professional computer scientists, during a conference sponsored by Confassociazione Digital, which defined her as “one of the pioneers of cybersecurity, of scientific dissemination aimed at digital in Italy and an international expert”. This was announced by the Pisan CNR.
Vaccarelli, originally from Taranto, graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa. Since 2004 he has been responsible for external relations, media and communication of the Registry.it, the registry of domains.it, managed by the Iit of the Cnr. It carries out and coordinates communication and technical and scientific dissemination activities on the topics of the network also through multimedia tools, such as the Cnr WebTv. Since 2010, he has coordinated and promoted an action for the dissemination of internet culture in schools, with peer education projects between various school levels, implemented through the tool of school-work alternation, through the Registry.it playroom.
