(ANSA) – MILAN, 05 JAN – After the acquisition of Boston Dynamics, Hyundai continues its path in the world of robotics and at the next Ces 2022 in Las Vegas it will present its innovations related to both use in the real world and in the metaverse with the launch of the “Expanding Human Reach”.
On the one hand, therefore, the search for a complementarity between robotics and mobility, starting from the Mobility of Things (MoT) ecosystem, which aims to allow the movement of normally inanimate objects through the company’s robotic technology. On the other hand, however, the use of robotics in the metaverse, allowing to change and transform things in the real world through the connection between metaverse and robot. Hyundai defines the concept of these experiences as “Metamobility”.
Among the innovations presented in Las Vegas, therefore, the PnD module, a single-wheel robotic platform that combines intelligent steering, braking, electric drive and suspension hardware; the MobED (Mobile Eccentric Droid) mobility platform that uses the DnL module, an eccentric wheel mechanism, as well as the Vest Exoskeleton (VEX) and Chairless Exoskeleton (CEX) wearable robots.
