In 2021, the social network had blown out ten candles and introduced several new features for the occasion, including filters to identify with Disney characters and Gifting, a new function to allow users to support content creators, through the ‘Story Replies’ . In the last few hours, the company has launched further updates, aimed at improving communication for those who use the Android and iOS apps. With “Reply in chat”, you can prevent group chats from “bursting” with messages. Snapchat has introduced the chat reply function to reply to individual messages received in groups, better contextualizing the flow of the conversation, without overlapping. Then come the “Bitmoji Reactions”, to let surfers be able to express themselves more effectively with ephemeral messaging.
The update offers a quick way to react to any message, through seven emotional responses to choose from. Finally, the “stickers for polls”, to enrich your polls with special graphics to add to the Stories as well.
“It is important for Snapchat to provide its users with a fun and responsible way to connect and ensure that feedback is always kind and polite. As such, survey responses will not be anonymous,” the social network explained.
