The current head of the Libyan national unity government Abdel Hamid Al Dbeibah reiterated to “always carry out one’s work according to the deadlines established in the roadmap”, the so-called “roadmap”, “approved by the political dialogue forum” as it is only the Presidential Council has the right to change the executive: the Al Wasat website writes the day after the parliamentary nomination of former Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha as premier.
In an interview with the Libyan channel Al Ahrar, the site reports again, Dbeibah stressed that “what happened” yesterday “in the House of Representatives is a clear violation of the powers of the Presidential Council”.
As already stated recently, Dbeibah reiterated that “he will hand over power to an elected member of the Libyan people”, given that “the aim of the political agreement and the roadmap is to reach elections”.
