(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 20 – Ukrainian troops continued to bomb the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), including the main city of the self-proclaimed republic, throughout the night: this was stated, according to Tass, by the DPR mission at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC).
The attacks began at 2.16 Moscow time (0.16 in Italy) and targeted the settlement of Staromikhailovka, on the western outskirts of Donetsk, and was the sixth bombing in the area since midnight in Russia.
The settlements of Zaytsevo Yuzhnoye and Spartak, targets of mortar fire, were also hit.
After 3 Moscow time, according to the mission, there were six more bombings, and two more attacks hit Dokuchayevsk and Yelenkovka at 4.25 and 4.37 local time.
Yesterday the other breakaway republic, Lugansk, allegedly suffered about fifty attacks by Kiev troops in violation of the ceasefire, according to the local mission at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC). The attacks targeted – reports Tass – 27 residential areas. (HANDLE).
