USA: researchers reveal the identity of the founders of QAnon

(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 22 – Two teams of researchers may have identified the names of the founders of QAnon, the American conspiracy movement. Thanks to artificial intelligence software, the Swiss startup OrphAnalytics and French linguists Florian Cafiero and Jean-Baptiste Camps analyzed more than 100,000 words written by Q, the figure behind the movement, and their conclusion is that it is two people: the developer of South African software Paul Furber and congress candidate Ron Watkins, of whom he had long been suspected but who, when asked by the New York Times, denied.

The researchers also looked at texts by Donald Trump and his family, as well as those of other QAnon supporters such as former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and political advisor Roger Stone, but argue that Watkins and Furber’s profiles match. with that of Q at 90%.
