Usa: fear in New York, two people stabbed at Moma

(ANSA) – NEW YORK, MARCH 12 – Fear in New York. A man stabs two people inside the popular Museum of Modern Art (Moma) in the middle of Saturday afternoon. The museum was evacuated for security reasons, causing panic among the public unaware of the incident.

Police investigations are still ongoing. The cameras captured the man in charge, a white man in his 60s wearing a colorful T-shirt under a black jacket. What triggered his fury was the revocation of the subscription: the man had been sent the revocation letter on Friday, but already on Saturday on the computers of the museum the absence of his subscription appeared.

So when he showed up he was denied entry and got so nervous that he “attacked two museum employees and hit them several times”, reports the police, who have not yet been able to stop him. In fact, the man immediately moved away after the attack, causing him to lose track of him. His, however, of him is not a new face for the agents working in the area: despite having no arrest against him, he has been arrested in the past for two other incidents in the vicinity.

The mayor of New York, Eric Adams, was immediately informed and continues to follow the developments even if, at the moment it seems to be an isolated case. The two people stabbed, a woman and a man, are hospitalized in stable conditions. (HANDLE).
