(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 14 – The enterprises of foreign companies that withdrew from Russia after the invasion of Ukraine can be declared bankrupt within 3-6 months, with an accelerated procedure.
This was announced by the Russian finance minister, Anton Siluanov, speaking on Rossiya-24 TV, according to reports from Tass. “We have foreseen and developed a special mechanism: the accelerated bankruptcy which provides for the accelerated temporary administration and sale of the companies” who have decided to leave Russia. “The mechanism will be implemented within a period of 3 to 6 months, depending on the position of the owners of those companies,” he said.
