(ANSA) – NEW YORK, MARCH 15 – The ‘killer of the homeless’ in Washington and New York has ended up in handcuffs. The police of the US capital have in fact captured a man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, held responsible for several shootings in which two ‘homeless’ were killed while they slept. The murderer in fact hit his victims in their sleep.
The first three incidents occurred in northeastern Washington between March 3 and 9. In two cases, the victims sustained gunshot wounds. While in another case a tent used by the homeless caught fire and inside the body of a man was found who was shot and stabbed.
In New York, the attacks took place in Lower Manhattan, one near the Holland Tunnel, which connects the city to the state of New Jersey, the other, deadly, in Soho.
