(ANSA) – LONDON, MARCH 18 – New conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson within the framework of an almost daily direct telephone line between the two since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
The two leaders spoke in the morning, reported Downing Street, to take stock of the war situation, but also of the “ongoing negotiations” between Kiev and Moscow. BoJo “reiterated the UK’s full support for Ukraine”, a spokesman said, and updated the interlocutor “on further lethal British aid” on the way in terms of weapons that London has repeatedly called “defensive”.
