(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 29 – Amal Clooney is among the world experts on human rights who have joined the international legal working group on responsibility for international crimes committed in Ukraine. Ukrainska Pravda reports this, citing the Office of the Attorney General of Ukraine.
“The legal task force will support Kiev to do justice to the victims of international crimes committed by Russia in our country”, underline the Ukrainian media, citing among the lawyers who will be part of it also Richard Hermer, Tim Otti, Philippa Webb, Baroness Helena Kennedy and Lord Neuberger.
The working group will also include legal experts from Covington & Burling LLP in the United States, led by Nihil Gore, the French firm Sygna Partners, led by Luke Vidal, and Withers, led by Emma Lindsay. All – writes the Ukrainian agency – will carry out their work free of charge. (HANDLE).
