It was the same company that had received the task of sending the large package, which, after examination with a scanner, attracted the attention of the agents of the environmental division of the police, who proceeded to open it.

The inspection made it possible to ascertain that, together with a large chess box that covered the whole, plastic and glass packages of various sizes had been placed with numerous multicolored spiders inside.

The agents, the broadcaster specifies, then proceeded to a census of the contents, coming to the conclusion that it was 131 live tarantulas, and 12 already dead due to the approximate conditions of aeration of the packaging.

After verifying that the documentation attached to the shipment did not contain the authorizations for the export of the spiders, they opened an investigation to trace the sender, and subsequently the recipients of the package.
