The head of the Wroclaw police fired two officers suspected of killing 25-year-old Ukrainian Dmitry Nikiforenko. In total, five Polish law enforcement officers are involved in this case.

One of the police officers was dismissed on September 10, the second on September 24. Disciplinary proceedings in this case were initiated against five law enforcement officers. According to one of them, the issue of dismissal is being resolved, two were suspended from service. The police noted that regardless of the adopted disciplinary decisions on officers, the prosecutor’s office continues to investigate the death of Nikiforenko.
