Kiev, bombs in washing machines left by fleeing Russians

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 16 – Before withdrawing from Ukrainian cities, the Russians left a series of traps in homes, including explosives in washing machines. This was announced by the Ukrainian interior ministry Denys Monastyrsky, as reported by Ukrinform.

“In all the places where the occupiers have spent the night, they have installed traps, the population also finds explosives in the houses where police officers, rescuers and soldiers live,” said the minister.

Explosives were found at doors or even inside washing machines, while many cars were mined. The threat of mines is still very high, the minister warned who invited citizens not to return until the bomb squads have carried out the demining. (HANDLE).
