“Through a video conference with our partners, we reaffirmed our unity and our determination to act to dissuade Russia from continuing the conflict. We will continue to increase our financial, military and humanitarian assistance in support of Ukrainian men and women,” Macron said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that French President Emmanuel Macron refused to call Russia’s actions in Ukraine a genocide. When asked if he would follow the example of US President Joe Biden, who used the term “genocide” to refer to the killing of Ukrainians by the Russian military, Macron replied in the negative.
