(ANSA) – PARIS, APRIL 20 – Emmanuel Macron slightly regains ground in view of Sunday’s presidential ballot against Marine Le Pen, even if the games are still open and France awaits the duel on TV tonight between the two candidates. According to a latest survey carried out by the Ipsos per e Monde Institute, La Fondation Jean-Jaurès et il Cevipof, the outgoing president earns two points compared to the last revelation in April, collecting 56% of voting intentions, against 44% of the Rassemblement National candidate challenger.
In the latest revelation made by the same institute from 2 to 4 April, the difference was 54% for Macron and 46% for Le Pen.
Anticipated by the broadcaster Public Sénat, the survey was carried out on a sample of 12,700 people, contrary to most of the surveys released in recent days which are based on a sample limited to 1,000 people. (HANDLE).
