Low-flying missiles over nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 26 – Two cruise missiles launched by the Russian army flew at low altitude this morning over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Energodar, in south-eastern Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Energoatom, the Ukrainian state nuclear operator, quoted by Ukrinform.

“The overflight of low-altitude missiles just above the site of the power plant, where seven nuclear plants are located, involves enormous risks. The missiles can hit one or more nuclear plants, it is a threat of nuclear and radioactive catastrophe for the whole world”, said Energoatom CEO Petro Kotin. (HANDLE).
