(ANSA) – PARIS, 01 MAY – Violent clashes were reported this afternoon in Paris on the sidelines of the demonstration for 1 May in which thousands of people participated.
The riots erupted when a group of young men dressed in black broke off the main gear and confronted the cops. Damaged the vertigo of several shops. Protesters threw several objects at the officers who then responded with tear gas.
The condemnation of the French Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin, is harsh, who defined the violence committed by “thugs” dressed in black and who came “to interrupt the demonstrations on May Day” as “unacceptable”. Peaceful demonstrations took place in several cities of France where Thousands of people took part. (ANSA).
