Babies were born weighing 3.3 kg and 51 cm; Erin Cheplak and Jill Justiniani were happy with the episode and hope they grow up together and be friends.
At Californiaus U.S, two identical twin sisters, Erin Cheplak and Jill Justiniani, 30, who became pregnant eight days apart in an unplanned way, were responsible for a curious fact on May 5th. In addition to having a child on the same day, just hours apart, and in the same hospital, they were also born with equal weight and length. The story, reported by the Washington Post, began when Erin called her sister and informed her that her water had coincidentally burst on the same day that Jill was scheduled to have her C-section. Oliver, son of Jill, and Silas, son of Erin, came into the world weighing 3.3 kg and 51 cm.
The episode took the sisters by surprise, however, it is nothing new in their lives. The sisters live in the same neighborhood, just 3 km apart, are trained in kinesiology and work in the same clinic as pediatric occupational therapists – in side-by-side rooms. “We’ve always done everything together. It was amazing to be able to spend life together at every stage. We’re really each other’s best friends,” Erin declares.
They believe that all these eventualities happened for an inexplicable purpose. “That was the beginning of this path we’ve been following, but also these things were totally destined to happen.” Jill and Erin are excited about the future and hope the boys will grow up together and be friends. “We are so excited that they will be able to have a similar experience to ours and go through all of life’s journeys together,” she said.
