(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, MAY 20 – Bad news for US President Joe Biden during his mission in Asia.
According to the latest Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research poll, his popularity is at its lowest since he arrived at the White House with only 39% of Americans supporting him.
Rising inflation, skyrocketing gasoline prices, powdered milk emergency are some of the issues weighing on the US president’s decline in support. Only two in ten Americans think Biden is going in the right direction or that the economy is good. The decline in consensus is especially evident within the Democratic Party where only 33% approve of the president’s work compared to 49% in April. (HANDLE).
