On Saturday afternoon, May 14, in a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, a man in military uniform opened fire and killed 10 people. In addition, three people were injured.
Officials said the killer broadcast the shooting on social media. According to law enforcement sources, one victim is in critical condition.
Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said the suspect was an 18-year-old white male. He was immediately arrested after the attack.
He will be arraigned on charges of first-degree murder, local officials said. Three high-ranking law enforcement officials noted that the suspect’s name was Payton Gendron.
