Gb, former Tory MP sentenced to 18 months for harassment at 15 years old

(ANSA) – LONDON, MAY 23 – 48-year-old former Conservative MP Imran Ahmad Khan, 48, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after last month he was found guilty of sexual assault against a 15-year-old by a London court .

Southwark Crown Court Judge Baker said Khan showed no remorse other than himself for the actions he took 14 years ago. During a party that took place in a Staffordshire house in January 2008 (years before entering politics), she forced the child to drink gin, then push him to seclude himself in a bedroom and watch pornographic images with him before molesting him. After the guilty verdict, Khan had resigned and a by-election for his former seat in Wakefield, a city in northern England, was therefore called for next June 23, which appears potentially dangerous for the conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson since there it is the possibility of having its majority eroded even if only slightly in the House of Commons.

The jail sentence also brings to the fore the full-blown cases and allegations of sexual abuse and improper behavior by members of the majority, including that of a Tory MP who was recently arrested for rape and released on bail while investigations into his account continue and his identity is not revealed.
