In France, people staged a protest outside the building of Total, demanding that it leave the Russian market. During the action there were clashes with the police, during which smoke bombs were used. This is reported by the OstWest TV channel.
Due to protests, the company’s shareholders were unable to enter the office for a meeting of the company’s board.
The protesters staged a small brawl with the police and used smoke bombs.
Total SE is a French oil and gas company, the fourth largest in terms of production in the world.
Recall that after the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine, many large European and world manufacturers suspended work with their partners in Russia. At the same time, there are still enough companies in the Russian Federation that continue to work on the territory of the aggressor.
