Time dedicates its cover to the 213 cities in the United States that have experienced a mass shooting since the beginning of this year. Of these, 23 occurred in schools. A mass shooting is an episode in which at least four people (except the killer) are victims of gun violence. Under the names, the word ‘Enough’ (enough) in the shape of a gavel (symbol of legislative power in Washington) and the words ‘When will we do something?’. “Over the decades – writes Time – after tragedies like this (Uvalde, ed) we have sent a message through our covers, we discover that we have published several and with painful frequency, particularly in recent years”. The Time editorial team also specified that the list of cities with mass shootings since the beginning of the year is based on data provided by the ‘Gun Violence Archive’.
