Today, May 28, the Russian Federation tested the Zircon cruise missile near Finland and Sweden, which were about to join NATO.

Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko wrote about this in his Telegram.

Details

The frigate “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov” performed a “test firing” of the Zircon missile at a target located in the White Sea. At the same time, the Russian Federation reported that rocket firing was carried out “as part of testing new types of weapons.”

As noted, the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile successfully hit a “sea target” located at a distance of about 1,000 km.

Recall, the head of the intelligence center of the Finnish Defense Forces, Colonel Esapekki Vehkaoja, said that after Finland joins NATO, Russia will talk about the need to strengthen the border with the Alliance. But due to lack of resources, the aggressor country will not be able to do this. Plans and reality in the Russian Federation are different.
