The wreckage of the plane crashed in Nepal and the bodies of 21 of the 22 people were found who were on board

The wreck of theairplane passengers disappeared in Nepal with 22 people on board. A military official said so. “A rescue team has located the wreck,” Nepalese army spokesman Narayan Silwal said, sharing an image on Twitter showing the wreckage of a plane littered on the side of a mountain.
Nepalese rescuers then recovered the bodies of all 22 people on board, except one. “21 bodies have been recovered. The teams are looking for the last one,” Silwal said.
“It’s a very difficult area to work. The plane shattered into several pieces scattered all over the slope,” a police officer said at the crash site.
About 60 people were involved in the recovery operation, including the army, police, mountain guides and locals, most of whom walked uphill for miles to arrive at the crash site.
According to Pradeep Gauchan, a local official, the wreck is located at an altitude of approximately 3,800 to 4,000 meters.
The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the plane “suffered an accident” at 4,420 meters in the Sanosware area, in the rural municipality of Thasang, Mustang district. He did not provide details on the cause. The twin-engine Twin Otter had taken off from the city of Pokhara in central-western Nepal, the second largest city in the country, 200 km west of the capital Kathmandu, before losing radio contact. He was on his way to Jomsom, a popular trekking area in the Himalayas, a 20-minute flight from Pokhara. The plane was manufactured by the Canadian company De Havilland and made its first flight more than 40 years ago, in 1979.
