(ANSA) – ISTANBUL, 03 JUN – Iran will respond “immediately” if the West takes “political” initiatives during the meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea) scheduled for next week. “Any political action against the IAEA by the US and the three European countries would undoubtedly provoke a proportional, effective and immediate response from the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, during a telephone conversation with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Josep Borrell, as reported by Tasnim.
