(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, June 03 – A man randomly shoots a passing car and hits one with a family on vacation, killing an 8-year-old boy and injuring his father who was driving. The mother is unharmed. The three were from New Hampshire.
It happened in Florence, South Carolina.
When the police arrived at the scene, CNN reports, they found a car with two injured people and immediately transported them to the hospital, where however the child, identified as Quarius Naqua Dunham, died. The parent sustained a leg injury but is not life threatening. The shooter was arrested shortly after, after a brief confrontation in his apartment, and has already been indicted.
