(ANSA) – BERLIN, 03 JUN – At least three dead and 60 injured, of which 16 are serious. It is the current toll of the train derailment near the alpine resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in Bavaria. The accident would have occurred around 12.15 and, according to Bild, there were numerous students on board. At least three train cars overturned, but the causes are not yet known. “The passengers were pulled out of the windows,” a police spokesman said, adding that the injured included “all age groups”. Helicopters from neighboring Austria have also mobilized to help police, firefighters and medical personnel. (HANDLE).
