Western partners continue to help Ukraine with weapons in the fight against Russian aggression. At the moment, MI-17 aircraft for our army are being loaded at the US Air Force base. Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak wrote about this on his Telegram channel and posted a corresponding photo.

“MI-17 for Ukraine is already being loaded on the basis of the BBC USA,” Yermak wrote.

Military assistance to Ukraine

Spain will supply Ukraine with heavy weapons, namely, anti-aircraft missile systems and Leopard battle tanks, and will train our military on how to handle their equipment. The training will take place on the territory of Latvia.

Germany will supply Ukraine with modern IRIS-T air defense systems. With the help of these systems, Ukraine will be able to “protect an entire large city from attacks by Russian aircraft.” Germany will also provide Ukraine with a tracking radar capable of detecting enemy howitzers, mortars and rocket artillery.

In addition, 15 countries of the world, including the United States, provide military assistance to Ukraine. Washington held talks with Kyiv about the danger of escalation, which could lead to strikes on territory deep inside the Russian Federation. While the United States does not impose clear geographic restrictions on the use of its weapons by the UAF, the States are striving to reach a common understanding of the dangers of escalation.

Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that 20 countries have decided to send additional military assistance to Kyiv.

The United States will transfer Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. They will be part of a new $40 billion aid package recently approved by the Senate. The next package of defense support for Ukraine will contain weapons and equipment for a total amount of about $100 million.

Russian President Vladimir Putin threatens Ukraine with new blows. According to him, Russia will draw appropriate conclusions if the West supplies Ukraine with long-range missiles.
