Germany will supply Ukraine with modern IRIS-T air defense systems. In addition, 15 countries of the world, including the United States, provide military assistance to Ukraine. Washington held talks with Kyiv about the danger of escalation, which could lead to strikes on territory deep inside the Russian Federation. While the United States does not impose clear geographic restrictions on the use of its weapons by the UAF, the States are striving to reach a common understanding of the dangers of escalation.
Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that 20 countries have decided to send additional military assistance to Kyiv.
The United States will transfer Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. They will be part of a new $40 billion aid package recently approved by the Senate. The next package of defense support for Ukraine will contain weapons and equipment for a total amount of about $100 million.
