(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, JUN 09 – Live prime time TV (apart from Fox News), giant screen outside the Capitol where the dem will offer free ice cream, organizing another 90 “watch parties” in the country: it starts tonight at 8pm (4am at night in Italy) the great show with which the House commission investigating the Capitol assault on January 6, 2021 will illustrate its conclusions, with a lineup made pressing thanks to the help of a former television executive.

In the public hearings, six so far planned, unpublished video, audio, documents and testimonies will be shown, which some sources define as “explosive”. At the center of the investigation is the role of Donald Trump and his entourage before, during and after the attack on the Capitol, which shook American democracy.

According to some parliamentary sources, the investigation will reveal how the chaos and violence of that day were “the result of a coordinated campaign to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential elections and prevent the transfer of power from Donald Trump to Joe Biden”. The tycoon and his loyalists organized a media counter-offensive to delegitimize and refute the investigation. (HANDLE).
