(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 13 – 288 children have been killed in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion, more than 527 have been injured, according to the Kyiv Attorney General’s office quoted by Ukrinform.
Yesterday a 6-year-old boy died during a Russian artillery attack in Lysychansk, in the Lugansk region. On 11 June, a 12-year-old girl was injured in Russian missile attacks on Chortkiv in Ternopil. Meanwhile, a total of 17 children were injured in the bombing of the Kharkiv region; two children, aged 7 and 15, were injured in the Russian bombing of Lebiazhe, in the Chuhuiv district, on 14 May.
Two days ago the Ukrainian prosecutor’s report announced that 24 children were killed in the Russian bombings in Mariupol in May, indicating that the numbers are not definitive.
