“We have completed the ‘initial’ tranche of HIMARS systems, and as we speak now, Ukrainians are completing their training,” a Pentagon spokesman said.

Briefly about HIMARS
HIMARS is an American high-mobility rocket artillery system developed in the late 90s, which is mounted on a wheeled chassis.
HIMARS carries six multiple rocket launchers or one MGM-140 ATACMS missile on a five-ton truck. The system was designed as a small, mobile MLRS with shoot-and-run capability.
The system is being transported on a C-130 aircraft. It is produced by one of the divisions of Lockheed Martin.
