(ANSA) – SHANGHAI, JUN 16 – The last temporary hospital for patients affected by Covid-19 in Shanghai, opened during the last reappearance of the virus, closed today.
The health institution, which was located inside the Shanghai New International Expo Center, was the first to admit over 10,000 patients and was used during the outbreak in the megacity. With 14,000 beds, it has welcomed 47,920 patients in the past 77 days. The last infected left the center yesterday morning.
Two confirmed cases of Covid-19 broadcast locally have been detected in Shanghai from midnight to 5pm today (local time), the municipal health commission said at a press conference. (HANDLE).
