Canada announced the provision of a new package to Ukraine military aid in the amount of about 9 million Canadian dollars. It will include replaceable artillery barrels to maintain range and accuracy.

Anita Anand, Minister of Defense of Canada, announced the allocation of new military assistance. According to her, Ukraine will be provided with 10 replacement barrels designed for M777 howitzers, which were previously transferred by Western partners.
The cost of the next package is about 9 million Canadian dollars (5.7 million pounds).
“We will continue to work around the clock to provide Ukraine with the comprehensive military assistance needed to protect sovereignty and security,” Anand said.
What will the USA give?
New package military aid from USA includes:
- 18 units of 155-mm howitzers;
- 36 thousand 155-mm shells;
- 18 tactical vehicles for transporting howitzers;
- additional shells for HIMARS;
- 4 vehicles for equipment repair;
- 2 coast guard systems with Harpoon missiles;
- thousands of protected radio stations;
- thousands of optical devices, including night vision.
The equipment will start arriving in August.
