(ANSA) – PARIS, JUN 17 – Two days before Sunday’s legislative elections, the leader of the French gauche (Nupes), Jean-Luc Mélenchon, declares that if he were to become prime minister he will give “French naturalization” to Julian Assange: it is what he himself declared at the press conference.
The British government this morning adopted the extradition decree to the United States of Assange, activist journalist, founder of WikiLeaks.
The crucial ballots for the renewal of the National Assembly will be held in France on Sunday. The Ensemble Coalition! by Emmanuel Macron is closely followed by the union of the gauche led by Mélenchon. (HANDLE).
