(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, June 20 – President Joe Biden and first lady Jill will visit a Covid vaccination center in Washington in the next few hours to underline the importance of the campaign aimed at children under 5 years starting today. This was reported by sources from the White House to CNN.
During the day, the president will speak to the White House precisely “about vaccines for children and the historic progress the country has made in the fight against the virus thanks to safe and effective vaccines available to virtually all Americans,” the sources added. A few days ago the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, gave the green light to the use of Pfizer on children from six months following the authorization of the Food and Drug Administration.
