The UK has not opened visas for the Russian delegation to participate in the next session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. All its members are under the sanctions of the country.

This was announced by Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Head of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Russian media reported.

According to him, the delegates submitted a request to the leadership of the assembly and the Russian Foreign Ministry to work on this issue. They wanted to get guarantees for issuing entry permits.

“We received an essentially outrageous answer that the British government – literally – cannot issue visas to members of the Russian delegation to the OSCE PA for whatever purpose they visit the country,” said Dzhabarov.

We previously reported that Western allies are considering whether to allow Russian oligarchs to buy off sanctions and use their money to rebuild Ukraine. Russian oligarchs began to hide their yachts, planes and other property abroad. Even those who have not been sanctioned are afraid of losing their assets.

We also recall that Russian oligarchs are suffering heavy losses from Western sanctions imposed in response to the invasion of the Russian army into the territory of Ukraine. They hold secret meetings to stop Putin.
