(ANSA) – NEW YORK, JUN 22 – The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, “is shocked and outraged by the news according to which at least one hundred civilians have been killed in attacks perpetrated by extremist groups against various villages in the region of Bandiagara, in Mali “. In a note from the spokesman he later said “equally shocked by the reports that dozens of civilians have also been killed in attacks by extremist groups in the Gao region and by the loss of life in other regions of the country, including a Ménaka, where tens of thousands of people have been displaced in recent weeks “.
