(ANSA) – MADRID, JUN 24 – A strike by cabin crew of the airline Ryanair has begun in Spain, called by two unions. According to the Efe news agency, today alone over 73,000 travelers could be affected by the protest.
The strike, called starting today for six days (24, 25, 26, and 30 June, 1 and 2 July), aims to claim better working conditions to include them in a collective agreement.
According to El País, at least for the moment the protest is not causing particular inconvenience, as Ryanair has not canceled any scheduled flights.
The first three days of protest coincide with strikes also called in other European countries, including Italy (tomorrow).
