(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, June 27 – A Louisiana court blocked the abortion ban in the state after the complaint filed by the Center for Reproductive Rigths, the association that defended the only abortion clinic in Mississippi in the “Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization “, on which the Supreme Court ruled on Friday, effectively abolishing abortion.
This was reported by the lawyers of the Center to ANSA.
Abortions will resume immediately and a new hearing has been set for July 8. In Louisiana – as in Kentucky and South Dakota – the abortion ban went into effect soon after the highest court ruling. (HANDLE).
