(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, June 28 – First Lady Jill Biden brought two of her granddaughters to Madrid, where the NATO summit opens tomorrow: Maisy and Finnegan, aged 21 and 22, Hunter’s daughters. The Washington Post reports. “We stayed up late and had a glass of wine,” Jill confided to Queen Letizia in their meeting at the Zarzuela yesterday.
Her granddaughters did not accompany the first lady on her visit to the royal palace but went to the embassy for a meeting with ambassador Julissa Reynoso, Jill Biden’s former chief of staff. Today the first lady and the Spanish queen visited a Ukrainian refugee center, tomorrow the program includes a visit to the Prado and Reina Sofia museums.
