(ANSA) – ROME, June 29 – At least 4,731 civilians have been killed since the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces. This was stated by Matilda Bogner, head of the UN human rights monitoring mission in Ukraine, presenting a new report on the human rights situation. Ukrinform reports it.
“Civilians continue to bear the brunt of hostilities. We have documented more than 10,000 people killed or injured – 4,731 dead,” said Bogner, noting that the actual numbers are considerably higher as it is difficult to determine due to the fighting.
Victims include 1,812 men, 1,225 women, 134 girls and 155 boys, 41 children and 1,364 still unidentified adults.
